South Atlanta CTA

25/26 South Atlanta CTA (Ages 11-18)

Sports build more than athletic ability. On the field, court, or rink, young people learn to work as a team, overcome setbacks, and stay focused on long-term goals. These experiences strengthen confidence, empathy, and relationship skills which are essential capacities that prepare them to succeed both in sports and in life.

Measuring What Matters

South Atlanta CTA utilized Hello Insight, a field-standard learning platform. This report draws on surveys from 19 young people ages 11 to 23 who participated between June 02, 2025 and May 31, 2026. The results are benchmarked against national data from more than 500,000 youth across 6,000 programs to ensure development is meaningful and significant.

Young People Recommend

This Program

95%

Young people said they enjoyed their program experiences enough to recommend them to a friend.

We ensured that young people had access to research-based Positive Youth Development (PYD) experiences. As a result, they developed capacities (short-term outcomes) that promote thriving (long-term outcomes), including academic success, college readiness, career/workforce readiness, and health and well-being.

South Atlanta CTA values youth voice. Through Hello Insight surveys, we gathered direct feedback from young people about their program experiences, measured against proven Positive Youth Development (PYD) practices that predict essential capacities.
