Who We Are

Organized in 1992, South Atlanta community tennis association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "help at-risk youth achieve academic & athletic success through tennis and education."

With Coach Sam Kennedy at the helm, SACTA has proudly served the citizens of the City of South Fulton and surrounding areas. SACTA has a proven track record of serving as a conduit to higher education for underserved youth.

As a designated National Junior Tennis and Learning Network member, SACTA is recognized and supported nationally by the USTA for our ability to strengthen and develop a roadmap for our organization for long-term impact.

Additionally, SACTA is one of 14 Excellence Teams in the nation. Excellence Teams provide additional resources designed to provide coaching, equipment and tournament travel to junior tennis players from under-resourced populations who would otherwise never have the chance to play the game of tennis.
