For more than 30 years, the South Atlanta Community Tennis Association, a 501(c)(3), has used tennis to create opportunity for young people across Atlanta—many from families who otherwise might not have access to high-quality coaching, mentorship, competition, and pathways to higher education.
Coach Sam Kennedy has spent his career helping young people discover what they are capable of—on the court and beyond it. His work has been recognized with the USTA Georgia Lifetime Achievement Award, along with numerous USTA, NJTL,education, community, and coaching honors.
And now we're
incorporating education.
Tennis + Education
SACTA is building the South Atlanta Tennis Academy—an educational community that combines the structure and relationships of SACTA's tennis program with so much more. We aren't moving away from tennis; we're building from it.
Your investment will help provide teachers and instructional support, academic technology, STEM and robotics experiences, monthly guest experts, curriculum and supplies, court access, hands-on learning, mentorship, and year-round programming. Help us build the next chapter of SACTA.
