On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the USTA Georgia awards banquet held in Buckhead, Coach Samuel Kennedy and the South Atlanta Community Tennis Association was honored as the 2018 USTA Georgia National Junior Tennis and Learning "NJTL" of the Year. He gave thanks to the USTA, Georgia Tennis Foundation, National Tennis Foundation, the parents of the youth that SACTA and South Fulton is able to provide tennis and education for.
